
Warm or Glace Icing
Ingredients:
- 4 Tablespoons icing sugar
- 1 Tablespoon water, milk or fruit juice
Sift the icing sugar into a saucepan. Add the fruit juice, milk or water, and
stir until smooth. Place over a medium heat and stir for about ten seconds.

Pour
quickly over the cake, and smooth the surface with a broad-bladed knife.

If making a chocolate icing, add one dessertspoon of cocoa, 1/2 teaspoon
vanilla essence and one teaspoon butter. Alternatively, 1/2 teaspoon glycerin
may be used instead of the butter.
